I’ve just received notice from one of our local engineering companies, they just purchased new equipment using the latest technology to survey land. This new equipment should streamline the process for quick, more accurate surveys.
Most Nevada City and Grass Valley Real Estate is located outside city limits in a more rural area without sidewalks, streetlights and property fencing. Even if the property is in a development with fencing but without “property monuments”, it may be a good idea to have a survey done to mark the corners. Although, often times, many surveys comeback with estimated corner flaggings because the surveyor could not find the monuments.
I always tell my clients to never build a fence without a survey and without your neighbor’s knowledge! That could be and usually is a very costly mistake.
